It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brian James McGoldrick of Goddard, Kansas, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on February 7, 2024, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Kathleen "Kathy" McGoldrick (McCarthy); and his daughter Brittney Gallaway. He is survived by: his father John McGoldrick (Julie) of Bullard, TX; his wife Maria McGoldrick of Great Bend, KS; his children, Chris Cates of Topeka, KS and Miranda Wood of Sioux Falls, SD; his brothers, John McGoldrick (Joann Kemper), Kevin McGoldrick (Sharon) and Peter McGoldrick (Mary Catherine); and his grandchildren, Kyri, Mercedes, Monte, Kaelyn, Castiel and Jameson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggest memorials be given to Golden Belt Humane Society, Great Bend, Kansas, in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
