He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Kenneth and Alta Lily Linton (Hoard); his former wife Barbara Linton (Penn); his siblings, Don, Gerald (Dade), Virgel, Alfred, Duane, Maxine Fansler and Marjorie Schreuder; his stepson Gary Cox; and his grandson-in-law Tim Hall.
He is survived by: his former wife Carol Loomis; his wife Virginia Linton (Curbello); his stepdaughter Terry Wininger; his children, Greg Linton of Cawker City, Marcia Linton of Glen Elder and Carla McPeak (Marty) of Glen Elder; his stepson Kevin Stover (Denise) of Concordia; his stepdaughter-in-law Belinda Cox of Wallace; his stepchildren, Terri Wineinger and Jim Cox; and his close friends, Joanne Pottberg and Karin McDanield of Topeka. He is also survived by 10 grandkids; 23 great-grandkids; 4 great-great-grandsons; and 5 step-grandsons.
