He was predeceased by: his father Ray Smith; and his granddaughter Addie. He is survived by: his son Joseph; his wife Marsha Appleby; his mother Elizabeth Carlson of Clay Center, KS; his children, Jospeh Smith (Cindy) of Glen Elder, KS, Jason Smith of Salina, KS, Tracy Smith of Glen Elder, KS, Sylvia Smith of Glasco, KS and Adreanna Smith of Salina, KS; and his siblings, Amy Young (Mark) and Bo Reed of Henderson, NV. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.
