William left this world on January 21, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Huston and Fronia Huston (Vandry); his wife Janet; his children, Jody Evenson of Chanute, Kevin Huston (Carmela) of Frontenac and Lacie Kranz (Jason) of Stillwater, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Amanda Houston (John), Chandler Boone (Mike Muir), Cutter Boone (Sara Greenough), Kayla Huston, David Huston, Nathan Kranz, Benjamin Kranz and Timothy Huston; his great grandchildren, Wilder Houston and Soren Houston; his siblings, Charles Beckman (Carol) of Chandler, Tim Sharp of Texas, Penny Smith (Frank) of Pittsburg and Gloria Iley (John) of Pittsburg; and his brother-in-law John Newbery (Nancy) of Pittsburg. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Living Faith Church (510 E 47 Hwy, Girard, KS 66743). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to Living Faith Church of the Nazarene and these may be left at the service or the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home, 518 W St. john, Box 258, Girard, 66743.
