She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry Hoozer and Maude Van Hoozer; her former husband Joseph F. Gracey; her husband George Mathis; her siblings, Howard, Robert Van Hoozer and Verda Overby; her daughter Linda Potter-Gariglietti of Frontenac Kansas; and her grandsons, Joseph Mansfield (Erica) of Shawnee, Kansas, Justin Mansfield (Meghan) of Temple, Texas and Cody Potter (Stephanie) of Frontenac.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Vanetas memory may be made to the United Methodist Church for the choir and the Girard Methodist Church.
