With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rick Steven Bland of Girard, Kansas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on October 24, 2023 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Wesley Bland and Katherine Lucille Bland (Judd); his siblings, Donna "Sue" Larcom, Greg Bland, Lance Bland and Larry Bland; and his nephew Donnie Bland.

He is survived by: his daughter Katherine Elizabeth Bland; his wife Eileen Elizabeth Westhoff; his siblings, Randy Bland (Debbie) of Arkansas City, KS and Pam Irwin (Marty) of Ponca City, OK; his siblings-in-law, Linda Bland of Rose Hill, KS, Marijo Bland of Derby, KS, Anna Goble (Dave) of Girard, KS, Connie Westhoff (Joe) of Olathe, KS, Donna Rodriguez (Ernie) of Lenexa, KS and Philip Westhoff of Walnut, KS; his nieces and nephews, Ben Goble (Mindy), Chris Goble (Kari), Ernie Rodriguez (Leslie), Wesley Bland, Nicolas Rodriguez, Michael Westhoff (Anna), Patrick Rodriguez, Kristin Bland, Valerie Bishop (Gabriel), Emily Stonerock (Aaron), Amanda Fulks (Phillip), Bridgette Johnson (Tyler), Teresa Westhoff, Olivia Rodriguez, Monica Rodriguez and Sara Goble; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Dante, Alex of Reese, E. J., Anastasia, Emmett, Evelyn, Elias, Ensley, Kendra, Olivia and Brandt.
