He is survived by: his sons, Marty Shaffer (Cathy) of Girard and Kevin Shaffer (Kathy) of Arma; his brother Rick Shaffer of McCune; and his grandchildren, Ali McCullough and Jason Shaffer. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
