It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine O. Filkel (Girard, Kansas), who passed away on June 17, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arbie Baker and Louise Baker (Grimes); her husband Charles Wayne Filkel; her daughter Janet Filkel; her son-in-law Stephen Van Scyoc of Leawood; her sons, Wesley Filkel and Kelly Wayne Filkel; and her brother Walter Baker.
