It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha E (Bailey) Murphy of Girard, Kansas, born in Eureka, Kansas, who passed away on January 17, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Clayton and Emily Bailey (Schwabe); her brother Clifford Bailey; and her father-in-law Warren Murphy. She is survived by : her husband Steven Warren Murphy; her children, Jeff Murphy (Sabrina) of Girard, KS and Molly Chase (Christopher) of Newton, KS; her grandchildren, Owen Murphy, Aubree Murphy, Ellie Murphy, Asher Murphy, Daniel Chase and Joshua Chase; and her mother-in-law Marjorie Murphy of Girard, KS..

Masks and social distancing will be required at the service.

Donations in honor of Martha may be made to Kansas P.E.O. Sunflower Grant or Crawford County Fair Association.
