It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry Leroy Watts (Girard, Kansas), who passed away on August 25, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Watts and Lillie Watts (Long); and his sister Marilyn Bruffett. He is survived by: his former wife Julia Overman Smith; his daughters, Sharry Jane and Rita Julia; his wife Vera Delores Stevens Page; his daughters, Sharry Briggs (David) of Lenexa, KS and Rita Nelsen (Kirk) of Leawood, KS; his granddaughters, Ruby Briggs of Lenexa, KS, Sarah Briggs Yohn (Bryce) of Shawnee, KS and Jennifer Nelsen Robertson (James) of Leawood, KS; his great grandchildren, Julia Ann and James Nelsen Robertson; and his siblings-in-law, Wilma McKibben of Iantha, MO and Gene Bruffett Sr of Carthage, MO. He is also survived by niece, nephews, and many, many close friends.
