He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement McClaskey and Ruth McClaskey (Cunningham) of Girard; his wife Lois Jean Covey; and his brothers, George and Jack.
He is survived by: his children, Vicki Kolarik (David) of Bellvue, Neb, Linda McClaskey of Salina and Gerald McClaskey of Lawrence; and his grandchildren, Nathan, Jared, Ryan, Erin, Megan, Christopher, Amanda, Kathleen, Tyler, Danielle, Sean, Connor and Kerry. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
