He was predeceased by : his parents, James Emmett and Lucy Catherine Dowling (Diskin); his former life partner Amy Marie Ewing of Patrick's Catholic Church; and his brother James Dowling. He is survived by : his children, James (Mike), John Patrick Dowling of Girard, Patrick Nicholas Pitchford of Albuquerque, Cheryl Marie Lance (Ray) of Girard and Cathy Ann Marshall (Bill) of Girard; his grandchildren, Andrew Lance (Carrie), Alvin Jackson (Dayzsa), Chanel Marshall (Blake), Tiana Jackson, Kimberley Dowling, Christian Dowling, Lauren Dowling, Carrie Dowling and Kellie Dowling; and his sister Frances Wickwire (John) of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
