He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Anthony Giefer, Sr. and Mary Corene Johnston; his wife Marjorie Faye Bond; and his siblings, Charles Giefer, John Giefer, William Giefer, Richard Giefer, Anna Marie Richards, Betty Waas, Dorothy Burgess and Mary Coreen Giefer.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Giefer (Betty) of Emporia, David Giefer of Girard, Kenneth Giefer (Cheryl) of Girard, Nancy Roark (Richard) of Joplin and Robert Giefer (Sharon) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and his brother George Giefer of Springfield, Missouri. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 19 greatgrandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
