She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Skahan (Edward) and Martha Skahan (Ferns); her husband James Sandella; her daughters, Phyllis Marie Sandella and Mary Sue Stone; and her siblings, Donald Skahan, Mary Joe Russell, June Jones and Mona Nicoletti.

She is survived by: her sisters, Patricia Blizzard of Bartlesville and Kathryn Garrett of Louisiana; and her grandchildren, Felicia Bohrer (Joel), Kimberly of Washington, Kathi Piccini (Paul), Shannon Dewey, Julie Saggars (Aaron), Megan Cordry and Seth Cordry (Hallie). She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
