He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett E. Carr and Edith May Carr (Haggard); his wife Freda B. Smith; and his siblings, Carl Richard "Dick" Carr, Keith Wayne Carr and Doris J. Waggener.
He is survived by: his children, David Carr (Kathy) of Girard, KS, Jeff Carr (Janet) of Riverton, KS, Allen Carr of Diamond, MO, Ronald Carr (Angie) of Fort Scott, KS, Donald Carr (Amy) of Neosho, MO, Debra Boyd (Daniel) of Lenexa, KS and Janet Ashbacher (Mike) of Arma, KS; and his sister Nancy M. Forbes of Arma, KS. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Westridge Senior Living Community and/or Harry Hynes Hospice.
