He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth E. Wheat and Margaret L. Wheat (Sale); and his brother Ronald Wheat. He is survived by: his wife Jan Wheat; his daughter Angie Baker of Pittsburg; and his grandsons, Kenneth Baker, Adam Baker and Lucas Deane.
The family suggests memorials be given to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
