With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Richard of Girard, Kansas, born in Kinsley, Kansas, who passed away on August 5, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George D. Peterson and Edna M. Peterson (Dorman); her husband Jules J. Richard, Jr.; her grandson Tim Miller; and her siblings, George D. Peterson, Archie E. Peterson, Doris E. Geier and Myrtle James.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Richard (Kathryn) of Arma, Gary Richard (Jann) of Pittsburg, Joyce Pyle (Mickey) of Girard and Sheryl Soule of Bakerfield, California; and her sisters, Betty J. Peterson of Hemet and Patsy A. Stevens of Girard. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
