It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Earl Scales of Girard, Kansas, who passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Earl Scales to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Glen Wilford and Julia Faye Scales (McColm); and his siblings, Maurice Glen Scales and Judy Scales. He is survived by : his wife Linda Lee Clugston; his children, Glen W. Scales (Sherry) of Allen, TX and Donna L. Platt (Steven) of Butler, MO; his brother Melvin Scales (Mary Jo) of Pittsburg, KS; and his grandchildren, Jenny Jo Burdine, Kaleb Platt, Breanna Jones and Tessa Webb. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
