It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Whitby (Girard, Kansas), born in Lenexa, Kansas, who passed away on March 19, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. Renfer and Eva Renfer (Moody); her husband Rev. James R. Whitby; her sisters, Irene Valentine, Jackie Lockhart and Joyce Kee; and her grandson Damon Shear.
She is survived by: her children, J. R. Whitby (Melody) of Fruitport, Rob Whitby (Jane) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Lois Allison (Jimmy) of Tulsa, Debbie Holt (Pat) of Girard and Lyric Crane (John) of Tulsa. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
