She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Pontious and Bernal Pontious; and her brother Eldon Pontious. She is survived by: her children, Sheila Wilson (Rex) of Richmond, KS, Terie Ortega (Robert) of Belton, Robert M. Wingo (Angie) of Garnett, James L. Wingo (Jeannette) of Harrisonville and Tammy Bailey (Tim) of Overland Park, Kansas.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Dickey Funeral Homes (2401 E Mechanic St, Harrisonville, MO 64701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Dickey Funeral Home (2401 E Mechanic St, Harrisonville, MO 64701).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Olathe Hospice Center in Olathe, KS, in Wilma's memory.
