With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Messenger of Garnett, Kansas, born in Greeley, Kansas, who passed away on November 2, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Eugene Messenger and Beatrice Brown (Smith); his wife Mary Messenger; his brother Clarence Eugene Messenger II (Mary); his sister-in-law Velma Messenger; and his sister Betty Denniston (Don).
He is survived by: his former wife Bonnie Jean Ahring; his children, Terry Messenger (Vicki) of Ottawa and Debbie Perez of Gardner, Kansas; his grandchildren, Logan, Carter Messenger of Ottawa, Mario, Jr. and Antonio Perez of Gardner; and his siblings, Jack Messenger of Harlan, Iowa, Ray Brown (Kim) of Lawrence and Mary Irene Lamb (Eddie) of Osawatomie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
