He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wilper and Rita Burroughs Wilper; and his sister Rose Marie Wilper. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Wilper (Powls); his children, Steve (Melanie Wilper) of New Smyrna Beach and Sarah (Andrew Burkhart) of Garnett, Kansas; his grandchildren, Zachary, Shelby Wilper, Charlie Covert, Istonia Luttrell, Damion Hulcy and Hunter Hulcy; his great grandchild Oakley; and his siblings, Bill (Dianne Wilper), Tony (Angie Wilper), Lee (Monica Wilper), MaryAnn (Tim Morgan), Julie (Marty Holloran) and Paul Wilper. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to Rex Wilper Memorial Fund and left in care of the funeral home.
