Phyllis Callahan Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 20, 2021, at the age of 92, Phyllis Callahan of Garnett, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom D. Teter and Anna Teter (Sobba); her husband Dennis Callahan, Jr.; her sons, Ronald Ray Callahan and Patrick Callahan; her granddaughter Carissa Callahan; and her siblings, Dorthea Koehler, Velva Hermreck, Betty Hiestand, Nadine Poss, Tom and Larry Teter.

She is survived by: her sister Dorothea; her sons, Dennis Michael and Mike Callahan (Joyce) of Baldwin City, Kansas; her grandchildren, Eric Callahan of Garnett, Chris Callahan (Yan) of Rogers, Cody Callahan (Britney) of Verdigris, Courtney Lee (James) of Chelsea and Wesley Callahan of Washington, DC; and her siblings, Norman Teter of Chico, California and Mavis Horner (Jerry) of Wichita, Kansas. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose School or to the Garnett Senior Center and left in care of the funeral home.
