We bid farewell to Lucille Davis of Garnett, Kansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 15, 2024 at the age of 98. Lucille touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ray and Rosa Hale (Hartman); her husband Walter Davis Jr. (Bud); her siblings, Roland Ray Hale, Jesse James Hale (Bus), Juanita Turner and Goldie Gull (Pat); her children-in-law, Jane Peine Davis and Greg Ennis; and her grandson Marvin Lee Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Davis (Margaret) of Lawrence, Jay Davis (Cynthia) of Topeka, Kansas and Kathy Davis (Jack) of Topeka, Kansas; her granddaughters, Beverly Talley (James), Brenda Davis, Tatum Eck (Eric) and Ashley Davis (Alexander Csajko); and her great grandchildren, Sadie Murdock, Tenley Eck and Donovan Eck.
Memorial contributions may be made to Jefferson County Humane Society and left in care of the funeral home.
