It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois M. Shrum (Garnett, Kansas), born in Glen Elder, Kansas, who passed away on May 29, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John August Phillip Ahlvers and Lena Mae Ahlvers (Dieckman); and her siblings, Johnny Dale Ahlvers, Hilda Dietz, Glenda Funk, Larry Ahlvers and Judy Richey.
She is survived by: her husband Vernie Leon Shrum; her son David (Goldana); her grandchildren, Vandetta Mongeau (Brian) of Eureka, KS, Zane Shrum of Satanta, KS, Devin Shrum and Garnett; her great grandchildren, Chandler (Lacey), Britta Mongeau, Braden and Brilee Shrum; and her great great grandchild Quinn Mongeau.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church and Good Shepherd Hospice.
