She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Olin and Marjorie Welsh (Steele); her brothers, Gary Welsh and Gerald Welsh; and her brother-in-law Wendell Thompson.
She is survived by: her husband Howard Thompson; her daughters, Chardel Hastings (Mark), Joleata Kent (Roger) and Janell Yelm (Ronnie); and her sisters-in-law, LaNelle Welsh of Kincaid and Karen Thompson of Iola, Kansas. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be a private family service on Tuesday, at the Kincaid-Selma Methodist Church, Kincaid, Kansas.
Memorial contributions may be made to Kincaid-Selma United Methodist Church or to Kincaid Fair Association.
