We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2022, at the age of 100, LaVerne Howarter (Garnett, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Henderson and Altha Henderson (Dall); her husband Wayne; and her siblings, Florence Osborn, Clara Warbritton, Florine Costley, Mary Smith, Esther Scott, Orin Henderson, Leonard Henderson and Wayne Henderson.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Howarter (Pam) of Garnett and Terry Howarter (Susan) of Topeka, Kansas; her grandchildren, Jamie of Overland Park, Mark (Stephani) of Baldwin City, Matt (Shiela) of Overland Park, David (Alisha) of Frisco, Katey of Greenville and Cari Smith (Devon) of Topeka, Kansas; and her great grandchildren, Meyer, Turner, Emily, Lydia, Sophie, Hunter and Nadia Howarter.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lone Elm Community Building or Kincaid High School Community Building and left in care of the funeral home.
