It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry J. Peine of Garnett, Kansas, who passed away on February 28, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Peine and Maxine Peine (Peters); his brother Dale Peine; and his nephews, Russell Schwegman and Kevin Brock.
He is survived by: his former wife Sandra K. Shaw; his wife Sandi Peine; his children, Tara Florentin (Les) of Ottawa, J. J. Peine (Sandy) of Gardner, Derek Peine (Sarah) of Hays and Preston Peine (Erika) of Katy, Texas; his grandchildren, Shelby (Scotty), Nick, Kaylen, Morgan (Dylan), Tanner, Max, Devin, Addie, Izzy and Gus; his great grandchildren, Italia, Lillie, Tamsin and Emerson; his siblings, Dean Peine (Cheri) of Oswego, Kansas, Marie Brock (Jerry) of Richmond, Ruthann Tonak (Dennis) of Roscoe and Joyce Catt of Garnett, Kansas; and his sisters-in-law, Janice McGie of Surprise Arizona and Connie Peine of Welda. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
