John B. Wolken Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2023, at the age of 82, John B. Wolken of Garnett, Kansas, born in Greeley, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John B. Wolken to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, August Wolken and Gertrude Wolken (Lanzrath); his wife Fern Wolken; and his siblings, Louis Wolken, Delores Gibney, Kathleen Guilfoyle and Mary Agnes Obermeier.
He is survived by: his sons, Tom Wolken (Deanna) and Chuck Wolken (Tina) of Garnett; his grandchildren, Emily Devall (Brandon), Katelyn Schroeder (Mitch), Reuben Wolken (Morgan), Richele Parks (Shawn), Jacob Wolken and Johanna McDaniel (Aaron); his stepchildren, Lonnie Sprague (Jo Helen) of Kincaid, Latricia Gainer (Ron) of Penn Valley and Shayla Church (Jody) of Kincaid; and also, Bernadette Madison and Betty Jo Rainwater. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose School or to the Anderson County Fair Association and left in care of the funeral home.
