It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Ella Phares of Garnett, Kansas, who passed away on February 20, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jo Ella Phares to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dite Benjamin and Sarah Ella Benjamin (Tilton); and her siblings, Earl, Glen, Albert, Charles Benjamin, Lois Miller, Inez Cain and Mariellen Gettler.
She is survived by: her daughter Marcia; her husband Paul Phares; and her children, Paula Wallace (Ernest), Cheryl Harber (Rob), Vicki Phares (David Ranney) and Rodney Phares (Marcia Phares) of Garnett. She is also survived by five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Friends of the Library or ARC and left in care of the funeral home.
