It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerome Katzer of Garnett, Kansas, who passed away on December 1, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jerome Katzer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Katzer and Anna Katzer (Egidy); his wife Faye Katzer; and his brothers, Ralph Katzer, Mark Katzer and Maurice Katzer.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Katzer (Anthony Wroblewski) of Independence, Charlene Evans (David) of Kansas City, Missouri, Joseph Katzer of Independence, Patrick Katzer of Gladstone and Christopher Katzer of Independence, Missouri; his siblings, Greg Katzer (Shirley), Virgil Katzer (Linda), Ben Katzer (Barbara), Fred Katzer (Nancy), Mike Katzer, Anthonette Wolken, Marlene Hermreck, Theresa Morgan and Kathy Wittman (Chuck); and his sister-in-law Kay Katzer. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Catholic Church and left in care of the funeral home.
