He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Padfield and Eva Padfield (Saving); his wife Susan Padfield; and his sister Joyce Shaffer. He is survived by: his son Mark (Rachel) of Tonganoxie, Kansas; his granddaughters, Sydney and Aubrey; his nephews, Brent Shaffer (Teresa) of Warsaw, Missouri, Kirk Shaffer (Stacie) of Louisburg, Kansas, Chad Shaffer of Kansas City, Missouri, Thad Shaffer of Louisburg, Kansas, Robert Burns of Dallas, Texas and William Burns (Brenda) of Lewisville, Texas; and his sister-in-law Connie Burns of Lewisville, Texas. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews; and many family and friends.
