She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dick Leslie Perdue of Olathe, Kansas and Pauline Joyce Perdue (Dana); her grandmother Dana; her daughter Alison Rue; her husband Alvin Chriestenson; her son Mark Chriestenson (Becky); her grandchildren, Marshall of Edgerton, Kansas, Christopher of Edgerton, Kansas, Gunner of Edgerton, Kansas and Alyssa of Edgerton, Kansas; her son-in-law Russell Rue; her granddaughters-in-law, Abigail and Lillian Rue; and her siblings, Vicky Rothus (Gary), Don Perdue of Gardner, Diane Nelson (Scott) of Olathe, Dean Perdue (Bev) of Argyle and Julie Salisbury (Dan) of Hillsdale, Kansas. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Garnett Church of the Nazarene or to St. Luke's Hospice and left in care of the funeral home.
