He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hermreck and Olive Hermreck (Rockers); his wife Daisy Jane Gault; and his siblings, LouAnn Maley, Floyd, Roy and Robert Hermreck (Bob).
He is survived by: his son Kevin Hermreck (Michelle) of Garnett, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Nathan (Bridgit Hirt), Jesica (Nathan Brown), Kayla Hermreck and Brandon Hermreck; his great grandchildren, Zoey, Lillian, Kinsley, Milly Hirt, Natalee, Kennedy and Rylee Brown; and his sister Betty Zigelhofer of Wichita. He is also survived by his family, friends, and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers Gene's family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Holy Angels Church Building Fund and left in care of the funeral home.
