He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Riebel and Flora Riebel (Decker); his wife Marjorie; and his siblings, Raymond, George, Leonard, Bernard, Edward Riebel, Cecilia McCullough, Mary Batson, Helen Fedders, Dorothy Yokum and Bernice Trowbridge.
He is survived by: his children, Lawrence Riebel (Joy) of LaHarpe, Jerry Riebel (Pam) of LaHarpe, Joseph Riebel (Sherrie) of Iola, Christine Ruby (William) of LaHarpe, Virginia Utley (Duane) of Piqua, Marilyn Wagner of Humboldt and Harold Riebel of Piqua; and his siblings, Anthony Riebel of Independence, Missouri and Flora Mae Gaylor of Tulsa, Oklahoma.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
