It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrold Tawney of Garnett, Kansas, who passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Tawney and Nelda Tawney (Hager); and his sister Marilynn. He is survived by: his nephew Steve Hood; his wife Vena Powls; his children, NaKisha Watts, Autumn Falk (Joe), Ryan Romig and Reanna Hardgrave (Nick); and his siblings, Larry Tawney (Christine), Wayne Tawney (Sandy) and Marsha Newbanks (Tawney). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many other family members.
Memorial contributions may be made to Darrold Tawney Memorial Fund and left in care of the funeral home.
