He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Nutter and Abbie Nutter; his wife Becky Cope; his son Matthew Paul Nutter; his step-daughter Amanda Hall; his brothers, Pete (Ruth Nutter), Jim (Lena Nutter), Allen (Emma Lou Nutter), Aaron (Dell Nutter) and Ray (Jenny Nutter); sisters Alberta Nutter Bizzantz Louis Bizzantz) and Francis Nutter Geary and his sister-in-law Lois Nutter.

He is survived by : his siblings, Larry (Jean Nutter) of Crescent, Don Nutter of Waynoka and Linda (Dan Strohmeyer) of Waynoka; his former spouse Pamelia Young; his daughter Patricia Gail (Kevin Ford) of Garfield, Kansas; his step-daughter April Stackhouse of Waynoka; his grandchildren, Autumn (Ryan Weir) of Hillsboro, Katie Inman of Waynoka, Hope Hall of Alva, Cameron Smith of Wichita, Blake Inman of Waynoka, Lane Inman of Waynoka and Johnny Hall of Alva; and his great grandchildren, Kreaklynn and Boone Inman of Waynoka.
