He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Reimers and Lydia Reimers (Dudek); his wife Angela Basile; and his siblings, Hans Reimers and Marianne Buckle.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Reimers (Laurie), Stephen Reimers (Japan), Peter Reimers (Philippines), Lydia Reimers, Ruth Keehner (Jerry), Lois Flowers (Randy) and Esther Ware (Steve); and his siblings, Renate Tyrrell, Werner Reimers and David Reimers. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
