It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Newby of Gardner, Kansas, born in Cameron, Missouri, who passed away on June 9, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Newby and Ethel Mae Newby (Neiderhauser). He is survived by: his wife Katherine Blackburn Sidwell; his children, Gaelinna Roebuck and Garth Newby (Julia); his stepchildren, Mark Sidwell (Toren) of Olathe, Kansas, Virginia of Olathe, Kansas, Scott Sidwell (Nancy) of Olathe, Kansas and Kristy Frazier (Dan) of Olathe, Kansas; and his sisters, Wanda Jones and Lala Milligan (Lloyd). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
