He was predeceased by: his parent Nela Mae McCollum (Rodgers); his former wife Lora McCollum; and his father Walter Leroy McCollum. He is survived by: his sons, Brandon Michael McCollum (Karen) and Jeffrey Allen McCollum (Stacy); his spouse Sharmen Sue Wright McCollum; his grandchildren, Ty Thorp (Lauren), Tyler McCollum (Karie), Chance Thorp, Austin McCollum, Jarit Sparks (Alexis), Carter McCollum, Ryan McCollum and Emma McCollum; his brothers, Rodger McCollum (Tina) and Rodney McCollum; his nephews, Scott McCollum (Heather) and Drew McCollum (Melody); and his niece Sara McCollum (Miguel).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Life Community Church (29200 W 188th St, Gardner, KS 66030). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (3616 SW 6th Ave, Topeka, KS 66606).
