He is survived by: his spouse Macalene McBurney; his sisters, Joyce Foster (Larry) and Mildred King; his stepsons, Robert Murphy and Tye Murphy (Jamie); his grandchildren, Robert Ball (Vanessa), Hayden Murphy, Georgia, Isla and Shelby Murphy; and his great grandchildren, Vincent and Hank Ball. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
