It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nadyne Marie Castonguay of Gardner, Kansas, born in Concordia, Kansas, who passed away on July 17, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Richard and Edith Richard (Avery); her husband A. Wade Castonguay of Peter's Catholic; her brother William Richard; and her grandsons, Max Castonguay and Brendon Meyer.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Castonguay, Denise Castonguay, Yvette Meyer (Kevin) and Mark Castonguay; her grandchildren, Alexandra Castonguay, Nicholas Castonguay, Blane Castonguay, Brianna Meyer, Alexa Meyer, Ethan Meyer, Natalie Meyer, Connor Castonguay, Jackson Castonguay and Matthew Castonguay; and her siblings, Carol Badsky (John), Marilyn Field (Michael), Tom Richard (Carol) and Steve Richard (Jane).

Memorial contributions may be made to Meredith Cemetery District #18.

“My prayers to the family of Nadyne Castonguay in this time of sorrow. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Nadyne was a wonderful high school classmate from the graduating Class of 1955 and those of us still here will miss her very much. She was a great help to me with creating online memorials for class members we had lost. In these later years of life when we found ourselves living alone, she would often call me just to visit. I will miss these friendly calls.”
