He was predeceased by: his parents, Irma Elizabeth Morris Bruns and Louis Edward Bruns, Sr.; and his sister June Elizabeth Bruns. He is survived by: his wife Patsy; his children, Renee Chambers (Dustin) of Olathe, KS, Rebecca Frecks (Kirk) of Gardner, KS, Sarah Bruns (Justin) of Horton, KS, Maggie McGuire of Olathe, KS, Michael McGuire (Theresa) of Kansas City, KS and Geoffrey McGuire of Olathe, KS; and his brother David E. Bruns (Shawn) of Olathe, KS. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, children, and grandchildren.
