With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura Janet McKaig of Gardner, Kansas, who passed away on September 1, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jefferson "Jeff" and Bertha Mae Edemann (Doss); her husband Donald "Babe" McKaig; and her siblings, Wayne Edemann, Darlene Prier and Norma Abbott.
She is survived by: her children, William (Becky) of Grandview, MO, Donna Anderson (Jim) of Newton, KS, Susan McKaig of Manhattan, KS and Patrick (Suzanne) of Wichita, KS.; her grandchildren, Christine Butler (Bryan), Elizabeth Anderson (Ben Blankley), Peter Anderson (Angie), Stephanie Gross (Kurt), Jessica Janzen (Eric) and Ben McKaig (Danielle); and her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Aidan, Hannah Butler, Alexis, Brooklyn Anderson, Antonio Blankley, Benjamin McKaig Jr. and Kurt Andrew.
