He was predeceased by: his parents, Dee Lester Brown and Lydia Mae Brown (Crawley); his former wives, Barb Workman and Donna Hunt; his son Jesse Robert Brown; his former wife Becky; his daughter Janet Marie Brown; his stepdaughter Linda Crotchett; and his siblings, Wyatt Cowan Brown, Morris Brown, Jake Cowing Brown, Claud Brown, Flora Mae Johnson and Dora Mae Clark-Wall.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Shelley Brown of Gardner, KS; his children, Janey Wiseman (Pat), Bruce Brown (Sue) and Jeanne Ann Romero (Chris); and his stepchildren, Don Hunt (Kristy) and Barbara Farris (Mark). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.

Following Covid-19 guidelines graveside funeral services will be 11:00 a. m., Friday, December 18, 2020, at Oakwood Cemetery, Baldwin City, KS.
