Elmer Glenn Bonar Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elmer Glenn Bonar of Gardner, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 9, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Bonar and Aria Bonar; and his wife Janet. He is survived by: his children, Laura Gourley (Eric) and Jim Bonar (Laura); his grandchildren, Heather Hall (Darren), Brent Gillespie, Megan Mueller (Brock), Jacie Bonar, Nicole Bernard, Angie Gourley and Brandon Gourley (Liz); and his great grandchildren, Kaylynn, Abigail Hall, Lincoln Bernard, Connor, Blaine Gourley, Luke and Norah Gourley.
Glenn spent many years coaching and umpiring in Gardner, so in lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the City of Gardner Parks and Recreation Scholarship Fund, 120 E. Main, Gardner, KS 66030, so kids can participate in sports even in lean economic times.
