She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edward and Helen Mae Knabe (Ewing); her husband Thomas Vervynck, Jr.; her daughter Carol; and her sister Jo Ann Clark.
She is survived by: her son Mike; her brother Vernon (Leone Knabe); and her grandchildren, Jamie, Jeremy Logan of Grain Valley, MO, Josh and Catherine Leitner of Valley Falls, KS. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
