It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Nelson Peavy of Gardner, Kansas, born in Olean, New York, who passed away on March 4, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Allen and Margaret Peavy (Golden) of Virginia; and his siblings, Joseph Peavy, James Peavy, Mary Say, Patricia Naramore and Margaret "Peggy" Zimmerman.

He is survived by: his wife Susan Jordan; his sons, Nelson Peavy and Ben Peavy (Gwyn); and his grandchildren, Alex, Christina and Jason Peavy.
