He is survived by: his wife Larinda Briles; his sons, Stan Darnell (Nikki) and Chad Darnell (Lindsey); his siblings, Kay Malone, Elva Cook, Bobby R. Darnell, Teressa Darnell, Frank Darnell, Laverne Darnell, David Darnell and Tim Darnell; and his grandchildren, Taelyn, Gavin, Gabriella and Gianna Darnell.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Faith Chapel (736 S Center St, Gardner, KS 66030). A burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Leavenworth National Cemetery (150 Muncie Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048).
