He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arthur and Mable Sparks (Grant); his former wives, Juanita and Linda; and his siblings, Leonard, Charles, William, Roy, Jesse, Milton Sparks, Kathryn Bidding and Cynthia Simpson.

He is survived by: his sons, Clifford Sparks, Jr. (Theresa), David (Darlene Sparks), Ottawa and Gary Sparks; his sister Mary Woodward of Winchester, KS; and his grandchildren, Michelle Sparks, Jennifer Pope, Clifford Sparks, III, Paul Sparks, Dave Sparks, Samuel Sparks, Martha Sparks, Tammy Redel, Stacy Ashley and Lauren Galvin. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren.
